Little Leo was born as the only boy in a litter of 4 puppies. In the beginning I was going to get one of the females, but their brother grew up to be a very handsome little boy. so I decided he was the one I wanted. Leo has a lot of what I need to get closer to my goal. Bone, angulation, a good front, a nice head with well set ears, movement to die for, a really nice rear and the sweetest temper I have ever seen in a male of any breed. When Leo was a little puppy Liz's mother injured herself, and also a good friend of Liz had an operation, and needed help to manage until her foot was healed. So Leo was not trained when he arrived here. He had only meet his breeders dogs, and did not know of other breeds. He had not left the farm he lived on more than a couple of times and only met a handful of people. So we have trained him on other breeds, people and places since he arrived. Leo hates to be shown, but shows development every single day. We will try to show him again when he is ready. Leo has produced several litters with beautiful and good tempered puppies, and in 2009 his pups got several BOB, BOS, CAC's and a qualification for crufts!
